Dear Applicants,

After reviewing your suggestions, we have made some changes and improved our application process. We hope this will allow more time for you to organize your event, apply for your visa if needed and arrange financing. We will share suggestions on the visa interview process and provide invitation letters to our NGO Forum if needed.

All applications will be reviewed to determine the relationship of the proposed parallel event to the priority and/or review theme and its relevance to advancing gender equality post conference. Selected parallel events will be scheduled for a 90-minute slot Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 6:15pm during 11-22 March.

New dates to be aware of:

- Application opens: 15 October 2018
- Application deadline: 9 November 2018
- Notification of your application: 30 November 2018
- Confirmation of event acceptance: 4 January 2019

We look forward to working with you to create a meaningful experience for everyone. We will notify you by email of accepted parallel events by 30 November. If your event is not accepted, you will receive a full refund.

Logistical Arrangements

All rooms include microphones. We will no longer be renting projectors on day of event.

$250 Regular room (40-100) with no projector
$375 Regular room (40-100) with projector
$450 Large room (100-200) with projector

Contractual Obligations:

On behalf of the sponsoring organization and its co-sponsors, I agree to abide by the contractual obligations and rules as set forth below. We recognize that failure to do so may prevent participation in future NGO Forums.
- Follow capacity limits of the room specified by fire code.
- Leave all equipment in good working order.
- Ensure that the room and its contents are clean and ready for the next group.
- Keep to the allotted time frame of 90 minutes, plus 15 minutes to exit room.
- Make sure that food is not eaten in rooms.
- Do not allow people to sit on tables.
- Do not use tape or tacks or nails to attach signs to walls.
- Organizers should determine if participants may take photos or videos of attendees and announce it at the start of the event.
- Ensure that no products are sold in the parallel event rooms and its vicinity.
- Respect that the NGO CSW/NY name, logo, designs, product identifiers, slogans, trademarks, and service marks may not be used in any advertising, publicity, promotion, or other manner without the prior written consent of NGO CSW/NY.

Refund Policy

Do you give refunds for NGO CSW Forum Parallel Events?

No. Unfortunately, we cannot refund parallel events that were canceled by the organizer. We can only give refunds for applications that are not selected to sponsor a parallel event.

Do you give refunds for a change in room size and/or type?
